Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Chisokulab Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use ApplyGrid at applygrid.in. It is written to match how the product actually works today. It is not legal advice.

1. Who we are

ApplyGrid is operated by Chisokulab Pvt Ltd, India (Uttar Pradesh). Privacy and support requests: agam@chisokulabs.com.

2. Data we collect

• Account data — email address, password (hashed by our auth provider), optional Google account identifiers if you use Google sign-in, and your full name.
• Profile & employment data — phone, LinkedIn URL, narrative, education, employment history, achievements, and related fields you enter or that we extract when you upload a CV.
• Job application data — job descriptions you paste, company/role metadata, fitment verdicts, kit content (CV, cover letter, email, LinkedIn strings), pipeline status, and reminders.
• Generated files — PDFs and similar assets we create for you and store in private object storage keyed to your account.
• Technical data — session cookies needed for authentication, and standard server logs (e.g. IP, timestamps) from our hosting provider.

3. How we use data

• Authenticate you and keep your session secure.
• Analyse job descriptions against your profile (scam/blocker signals, fitment, gaps).
• Generate tailored application materials and PDFs from your profile facts.
• Run your application pipeline and send follow-up reminders.
• Provide support and improve reliability and safety of the service.

4. AI processing

Selected prompts that include your profile and job-description text are sent to Anthropic (Claude) to classify roles, score fit, extract CV content, and generate kit copy. Do not upload information you are not comfortable sending to our AI processor for that purpose.

5. Processors & subprocessors

• Supabase — authentication, Postgres database, and private file storage.
• Anthropic — AI inference for analysis and content generation.
• Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
• PDF generation service — renders CV/cover-letter PDFs from structured content you approve in-product.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for signed-in sessions (Supabase auth). We do not run third-party advertising cookies on ApplyGrid.

7. Retention

We retain account, profile, application, and generated-asset data while your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing agam@chisokulabs.com. Some records may be retained briefly in backups or as required by law.

8. Your choices

• Access and update profile data in the product.
• Request account deletion via support email.
• Stop using AI features by not pasting JDs or uploading CVs.

9. Security

We use TLS in transit, provider-managed auth, and private storage for generated assets. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

10. Children

ApplyGrid is intended for adults seeking employment. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

11. Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
