Overview

ApplyGrid ("we", "us") operates applygrid.in, a job-search copilot for Indian job seekers. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Account information: name and email address when you sign in with Google.
  • Gmail data (read-only): if you connect Gmail, we access job-application-related emails to detect company names, role titles, and application dates. We use the gmail.readonly scope only. We do not send emails on your behalf or modify your inbox.
  • Application data: job applications, follow-up schedules, statuses, and pipeline health scores you view in your dashboard.
  • Billing data: if you upgrade to Premium, Razorpay processes payment. We store your plan status and expiry date, not your full card or UPI details.
  • AI usage: if you use AI follow-up rewrites, the company name, role title, and follow-up context are sent to Anthropic (Claude) to generate a draft message.

How we use your information

  • Detect and organise job applications from your Gmail inbox.
  • Calculate follow-up dates and send email reminders you opt into.
  • Display your application pipeline and health score.
  • Process Premium subscriptions and enforce plan limits.
  • Generate optional AI-powered follow-up message drafts.
  • Improve reliability and fix bugs.

We do not sell your personal data.

Third-party services

We use trusted providers to run ApplyGrid:

  • Supabase — authentication and database hosting
  • Google — sign-in and Gmail API (read-only)
  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Resend — transactional email (follow-up reminders)
  • Razorpay — payment processing (Premium)
  • Anthropic — AI follow-up message generation (Premium / limited free tier)

Each provider processes data according to their own privacy policies and only as needed to deliver the service.

Data retention

We keep your account and application data while your account is active. If you request deletion, we remove your account data from our database within 30 days, except where we must retain records for legal or billing compliance.

Your choices

  • Disconnect Gmail: revoke access anytime from your Google Account security settings or by contacting us.
  • Email reminders: toggle off in your dashboard.
  • Delete your account: email support@applygrid.in from the address linked to your account. We will delete your profile, applications, and follow-up data.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Gmail access uses OAuth with read-only permissions. Access tokens are stored securely and used only to scan your inbox when you request a scan or on scheduled checks you enable.
